Wow!
We traveled to Moorea as a stop over on the way to see family in australia. After a nights stay in Papeete we took the ferry to the beautiful island of Moorea. After a quick taxi ride to the Bali Hai Boys Beach House we have reached our paradise for the next 5 days. My 3 girls ages 6,9,and 11 were so excited. The long pier out to the edge of the reef was one of the highlights for them as they could feed the fish and watch the octopus that hung out there. Having the local market so close was a big plus. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Having breakfast on the porch in the mornings by the beach could not be topped anywhere else in the world. I highly recommend this beachhouse if you want the space to stretch out and like to get away from the resort crowds. Your house is so nice and the location cannot be beat. Being able to walk to the restaurants and grocery store make this a very attactive deal for any one that wants to cook their own meals and enjoy the privacy of their own "resort". My 3 girls just did not want to leave. Being able to walk out over the coral and feed the fish was something they really enjoyed. We cannot wait to go back.

There's this one particular harbor...
Fantastic!!! I cannot remember all of the superlatives that came to us when we arrived at Moorea and the Bali Hai Boys-Beach House. We were greeted at the house by Napoe, a lovely housekeeper and an immaculate house full of fresh flowers and fresh fruit. We loved the newly refurbished private dock, where you could buy fresh fish from the fisherman that moored his boat off the end (a family member). Everyone we met made us feel welcome and right at home. We were lucky to get to meet Poema as she was over on the island from Tahiti for the weekend and she gave us an interesting history of her family and the house. The house had all the amenities of home from a well appointed kitchen, great views from the back porch and bedrooms, interesting and nice neighbors in Muk and Jay and a dog and two cats. You could prepare all of your own meals at home, there is a grocery store and a bakery two minutes walk from the house, or try the restaurants and food trucks that operate in the area. Staying at the Bali Hai Boys-Beach House made our stay in Moorea one of the easiest and most relaxing vacations we have taken so far. We will definately be going back. Thanks guys.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful stay and we all loved the house and Bush and the cats. What a fun addition. I’ll send some pictures when I get better organized. One of my favorite memories will always be when the kids and I walked down to the Pearl to make an inquiry at the dive shop. Bush went with us and walked right through the main lobby and through the pool area with us as if he lived there. Nobody said a word, so I guess they knew him!

Wonderful setting, great for families, peaceful!
Great house, very peaceful and relaxing, spent long hours on the deck with endless view! Stay in this house for 3 days, it was absolute sub tropical bliss, can't beat the rate.

Minor Issues!
First, let me say we had a fantastic stay, so these are really minor issues. Some of the reclining chairs outside are getting old, you might want to watch out for excessive wear. The decoration is somewhat dated. Personnally, I liked it, I think it fits the house. My wife thinks she would have liked it even better if it had been as new as the kitchen equipment. Matter of taste, really.
